Job Space Ltd. on behalf of its client is looking for a Senior Database Developer for their office in Sofia.


Required knowledge and experience for the position:

• Proven experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 administration
• Experience in creating, evaluating and re-writing stored procedures
• Experience in database performance analysis and optimization
• Knowledge of optimizing SQL Server using software tools
• Knowledge of evaluating disk space requirements for database files
• Knowledge of evaluating database design, query tuning, and procedure creation
• Ability to monitor data and index fragmentation
• Ability to optimize regular database maintenance plans
• Experience in problem solving and debugging intricate/equivocal problems specific to SQL Server
• 5+ years experience working with SQL Server 2000, and 2005 (strong preference in a production support role)
• 3+ years experience with SQL Server DBMS and DB monitoring and tuning
• 3+ years experience with server optimization and consolidation
